How long does a product render take?

Studio shots are typically delivered within 48 hours. Multi-angle render sessions take approximately 5 days. Complex lifestyle scenes and full product packages have custom timelines discussed at project start.

Can you render a product before it's manufactured?

Yes — this is one of the most common use cases. I can create a Rhino 3D CAD model from your sketches, drawings, or concept and then produce photorealistic KeyShot renders, all before a single physical part is made. This is ideal for Kickstarter campaigns, investor pitches, and ecommerce product pages.

What files do I need to provide to get started?

For rendering an existing model: any 3D file format works (.STEP, .STL, .OBJ, .3dm, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, etc.). For CAD modeling from scratch: reference images, sketches, or a technical drawing are enough to get started. If you have nothing yet, a description of your product idea is a fine starting point.

What software do you use for CAD and rendering?

All CAD modeling is done in Rhino 3D using NURBS surface modeling — the industry standard for consumer product and industrial design. All rendering is done in KeyShot, which produces the photorealistic, magazine-quality output that makes products look real before they exist.

Do you offer 3D printing and physical prototypes?

Yes. I offer FDM printing in PLA, PETG, ABS, and TPU, and resin printing for high-detail parts. Pricing for prototypes is custom-quoted based on material, print volume, complexity, and finishing. Submit an inquiry through the site for a fast quote.
